About the work:
Words from Eleni:
“ My research is a constant exploration of the meeting points between urban construction and the natural environment. As a response to the densely manufactured urban space, I am inspired by the delicacy found in the system of natural structures, aiming to transcend the immense non-organic flows of life that constitute the landscape. My purpose is to depict the power of the natural as a meeting point between cosmic order and disorder. My landscapes are inspired by Mediterranean nature, which is characterised by variety and fusion of different elements. They lack the human presence, representing the feeling of wilderness and solitude.”
