About the work:
Using found wool, Eve captures the sedimentary layers of our world using the Earth’s natural colour palette. Entwined in these layers are the Earth's mysteries and secrets which recount its rich history.
The Sea and Earth's Layers reflect the essence of the world's composition. By utilising materials that might have otherwise polluted the environment, Eve repurposes them, giving them new life. The result is a series of sensory-rich contemporary weavings.
