About the work:
Abstract Waste is an ongoing project dedicated to uncovering the aesthetic potential of discarded materials. The series plays with a range of industrial and household waste materials that have been cast within an eco-resin to alter the surface quality of the tiles. The pieces incorporate grass cuttings, egg-shell, sawdust, and wood shavings. The waste products provide the resin with distinct patterns and textures, showcasing the unexpected beauty of repurposed materials.
